User ID. Each User shall have a unique identity, referred to as a “User-ID”, protected by a “password” in order to gain access to the system. The User ID identifies a User in various system activities, provides access to certain software and data that is based on his/her department-established authorization, and associates his/her own software and data with his/her identity.
