Common use of Use of Tribal Certificate of Exemption Clause in Contracts

Use of Tribal Certificate of Exemption. To obtain the benefit of an exemption under § III(A)(1), § III(A)(3) and § III(A)(4) of this Agreement, the Tribe shall present to the vendor or contractor a signed Tribal Certificate of Exemption with a copy of the Letter of Authorization attached. In the case of affixation to real property by a contractor, the contractor shall submit the Tribal Certificate of Exemption together with the contractor’s Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption to the supplier at the time of purchase.
