Common use of Use of BellSouth Certified Supplier Clause in Contracts

Use of BellSouth Certified Supplier. ALEC Inc., shall select a supplier which has been approved as a BellSouth Certified Supplier to perform all engineering and installation work. ALEC Inc., and ALEC Inc.,’s BellSouth Certified Supplier must follow and comply with all BellSouth requirements outlined in BellSouth’s XX 00000, XX 00000, XX 00000, and TR 73564. In some cases, ALEC Inc., must select separate BellSouth Certified Suppliers for transmission equipment, switching equipment and power equipment. BellSouth shall provide ALEC Inc., with a list of BellSouth Certified Suppliers upon request. The BellSouth Certified Supplier(s) shall be responsible for installing ALEC Inc.,'s equipment and components, extending power cabling to the BellSouth power distribution frame, performing operational tests after installation is complete, and notifying BellSouth's equipment engineers and ALEC Inc., upon successful completion of installation, etc. The BellSouth Certified Supplier shall xxxx XXXX Inc., directly for all work performed for ALEC Inc., pursuant to this Attachment and BellSouth shall have no liability for nor responsibility to pay such charges imposed by the BellSouth Certified Supplier. BellSouth shall consider certifying ALEC Inc., or any supplier proposed by ALEC Inc.,. All work performed by or for ALEC Inc., shall conform to generally accepted industry guidelines and standards.

BellSouth shall provide ALEC Inc., with a list of BellSouth Certified Suppliers upon request. In some cases, ALEC Inc., ALCALL must select separate different BellSouth Certified Suppliers for those work activities associated with transmission equipment, switching equipment and power equipment. BellSouth shall provide ALEC Inc., ALCALL with a list of BellSouth Certified Suppliers upon request. The BellSouth Certified Supplier(s) shall be responsible for installing ALEC Inc.,ALCALL's equipment and associated components, extending power cabling to the BellSouth power distribution frame, performing operational tests after installation is completecompleted, and notifying BellSouth's equipment engineers and ALEC Inc., ALCALL upon successful completion of the installation, etc. The BellSouth Certified Supplier shall xxxx XXXX Inc., bill ALCALL directly for all work performed for ALEC Inc., ALCALL pursuant to this Attachment and Attachment. BellSouth shall have no liability for for, nor responsibility to pay pay, such charges imposed by the XXXXXX’s BellSouth Certified Supplier.
