Common use of Urgency Clause in Contracts

Urgency. Where anything in this Memorandum of Understanding requires the consideration, agreement or approval of the Transport Committee, or involves an urgent response to a major incident, but the matter is of such urgency that it cannot wait for a meeting of that Committee, the Chair of London TravelWatch Board will refer the matter to the Chair of the Committee in writing, copied to the Chief Executive of London TravelWatch and the GLA’s Executive Director of Secretariat, giving a short explanation of the decision required and why it is urgent.
