Common use of Urgency Clause in Contracts

Urgency. 1. If temporary transfers are required due to reasons other than work not being scheduled or available, the Board may transfer employees without regard to seniority. 2. Payment for temporary transfer: An employee involved in a temporary transfer shall be paid his/her assigned personal rate or the rate of the job to which he/she is being transferred, whichever is higher. 3. This section shall not limit the Board from assigning an employee to duties within his/her job description.
