Common use of Upon notification Clause in Contracts

Upon notification. an employee who must serve a period of incarceration as a result of a conviction arising from the operation or use of a motor vehicle, shall be granted a leave of absence without pay of up to 365 days in order to serve the period of incarceration. Such period of leave will not be credited towards accumulation of service. Family Leave Upon submission of a certificate issued by a qualified health practitioner indicating that a family member has a serious medical condition, and there is significant risk of death occurring within a period of 26 weeks, an employee will be entitled to take up to eight weeks of unpaid leave in order to provide care and support to that specified family member.
