Unspecified. One day of unspecified personal leave will be granted each year. The unused portion of such allowance shall accumulate from year to year to a maximum of 6 days. Teachers may utilize unspecified leave provided reasonable notice is given to the building principal. The pay of a teacher using such leave shall be reduced by an amount equal to the current rate for daily substitute service. These days may not be used immediately preceding or following a school holiday or a vacation period more often than once in a 2-year time period. Unspecified leave days may not be used during parent conference days or the first 10 or last 10 days of the regular school calendar.
