Unsatisfactory Probation. (a) In the event that an employee is found by the College to be unsuitable for continued employment during the probationary period, or if for any other reason the employee does not complete the probationary period, it will not be necessary to re-post the position. Should such a situation arise, the College may appoint the next available candidate recommended by the Selection Committee for that competition. Should the service of the second employee be found to be unsuitable for continued employment during the probationary period, or if for any other reason the employee does not complete the probationary period, the position will be re posted. The Union will be advised of actions taken by the College. (b) Employees who are found unsuitable for continued employment will be provided the reason(s) for the basis of that decision.
