Common use of Unpaid Meal Breaks Clause in Contracts

Unpaid Meal Breaks. All employees working shifts of five (5) to eight (8) hours are entitled to an unpaid meal break between the third (3rd) and fifth (5th) hour of work. Such meal breaks shall not be less than one-half hour nor more than one hour on the employees own time.
