Common use of Union Orientations Clause in Contracts

Union Orientations. Each newly hired bargaining unit Employee shall, during the Employee’s first or second day of employment, be scheduled at a time mutually agreeable to the parties for an orientation which shall be provided by the Union. The Union orientation period shall be thirty (30) minutes and shall take place during the Employee’s regular working hours.
