Union Office. The Executive Superintendent of Human Resource Services or designate may grant a leave of absence to an Employee requiring full-time duty at the provincial and/or national level, provided that the Union reimburses the Board for the cost of the Employee’s benefits. Such requests shall not be unreasonably denied. The Employee shall continue to accumulate seniority during the period of leave. 15.01 (a), a vacancy created due to a leave of absence under this Article will not be posted unless the leave of absence exceeds twenty-four (24) months.
