Union Induction. The Employer agrees to sign into the Union all new employees whose jobs are in the bargaining unit in accordance with the provisions of Article 4.
Union Induction. A nominee or nominees of the Union shall be given the opportunity to induct into the Union all new transport workers as required. The induction will be used to outline the value of Union membership. To this end the company will ensure the following:
Union Induction. Civica acknowledges the importance of new workers understanding available support and the role and function of the ASU in the workplace. To facilitate this, Civica will:
(a) Provide a session for all new employees covered by the EBA to attend a union induction, presented by the ASU organiser and/or ASU Delegates, upon completion of the initial 2-week training school period.
(b) Union induction will be held in person, on paid time, on the final day of the training school.
(c) Civica will not facilitate the administrative function of Union inductions i.e., printing or providing collateral.

In furtherance of the rights of Employees to join the Union and the rights of the Union to recruit Employees, and to inform and educate Employees about this Agreement, the Parties agree that representatives of the Union will be given an opportunity to induct all new Employees in accordance with the following procedure:
(a) the induction will take place in a suitable room on the site at which work is being performed; and
(b) wherever possible, the Union induction coincides with the Employee induction; and
(c) 30 clear minutes will be allowed for the induction to take place; and
(d) Employees will receive their base rate earnings for the duration of the induction.
Union Induction. The Company will provide union officials and union delegate’s access to all new employees. A union induction seminar will be included as part of the Companies induction format. The Union will be advised of the date of the Company induction seven (7) days in advance to ensure union officials and delegates can conduct the union induction seminar.
