Union contribution. 1. Insofar as permissible by the tax authorities, the employer will reimburse the employee’s net contribution for union membership - on production of proof of membership - while simultaneously having reducing the employee’s gross salary reduced by an equal amount. 2. Along with the collective and/or individual employers, the union will provide information and communication about the union, in order to encourage employees to become members of the union.
