Uniform Physical Condition Standards. The standards of the grantee must be such that, upon completion, the HTF-assisted project and units will be decent, safe, sanitary, and in good repair as described in 24 CFR 5.703. HUD will establish the minimum defi- ciencies that must be corrected under the grantee’s rehabilitation standards based on inspectable items and in- spected areas from HUD-prescribed physical inspection procedures (Uni- form Physical Conditions Standards) pursuant to 24 CFR 5.705.

  • Emergency Medical Condition A medical condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that a prudent layperson, who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: (1) placing the health of the individual (or with respect to a pregnant woman, the health of the woman or her unborn child) in serious jeopardy; (2) serious impairment to body functions; or (3) serious dysfunction of any body organ or part.

  • Certification of Meeting or Exceeding Tobacco-Free Workplace Policy Minimum Standards A. Grantee certifies that it has adopted and enforces a Tobacco-Free Workplace Policy that meets or exceeds all of the following minimum standards of:

  • Local Conditions The Design-Builder shall visit the site(s), become familiar with the local conditions, and correlate observable conditions with the requirements of the Contract Documents.

Part 1532), which prohibit the use under non-exempt Federal contracts of facilities included on the EPA List of Violating Facilities. The Contractor shall report any violations of this paragraph to the State of Indiana and to the United States Environmental Protection Agency Assistant Administrator for Enforcement.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION STANDARDS CONTRACTOR shall be in compliance with the Clean Air Act (Title 42 USC Section 7401 et seq.), the Clean Water Act (Title 33 USC Section 1251 et seq.), Executive Order 11738 and Environmental Protection Agency, hereinafter referred to as “EPA,” regulations (Title 40 CFR), as any may now exist or be hereafter amended. Under these laws and regulations, CONTRACTOR assures that:
