UNIFORM DAMAGE. Any Village issued uniforms, outerwear, or any other equipment damaged during the course of work must be immediately reported to the Divisional Superintendent and/or Crew Leader. The Supervisor will evaluate whether or not employee exercised reasonable care and whether the damage could have been prevented before issuing a replacement. An employee will be required to replace any issued item of wearing apparel at his/her cost whenever damage occurs as a result of the employee’s failure to provide reasonable care.

UNIFORM DAMAGE. The City agrees to maintain its procedure for reimbursement of Sworn Police personnel for uniforms damaged in the course of their employment. Such reimbursement will be made for repair where repair is practical and for replacement of items where damage precludes repairing the item to department inspection standards. Reimbursement for replacement will be on a formula ranging from a maximum of one hundred percent (100%) to a minimum of fifty percent (50%) of cost depending on the number of months the item has been in service. (Refer to schedule “A”).
UNIFORM DAMAGE. The Town agrees to reissue standard uniforms when upon inspection such clothing is destroyed or mutilated in the line of duty and said destruction or mutilation is certified by the Chief. If the Chief and a member of the Union executive board determines that the destroyed or mutilated uniform was in the final stage of its useful life prior to such destruction or mutilation, a prorated amount equal to the value of said uniform prior to such destruction or mutilation shall be paid to the employee in lieu of the issuance of new clothing.
UNIFORM DAMAGE. It is the policy of the City to pay for the cost of repairing uniforms and equipment of members of the Police Department which are damaged in the line of duty. If uniforms are damaged beyond repair, the City will pay the actual value of the uniform and/or equipment, to be determined according to a depreciation schedule. The claim shall be submitted through the Chief of Police to the City Manager, who shall make the final decision.
UNIFORM DAMAGE. The Agency will replace a clothing item provided it is accidentally damaged through no fault of the employee as determined by the Fire Chief. Employees will be required to reimburse for actual cost of replacement for any uniform item lost or damaged through negligence as determined by the Fire Chief. Uniform Allowance Employees will receive a uniform maintenance allowance of Seven Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($775.00). Employees must be on the Agency payroll as of January 1st of each year for eligibility to receive the allowance. Payment of the allowance shall be in the employee’s paycheck. Payment of the allowance shall be included in the January payroll. New hires will receive this allowance within the first Sixty (60) calendar days of employment, unless hired after November 1st, and then they will receive one (1) allowance on or before January 1st and annually thereafter. This allowance is for the purpose of providing Boots, Shoes, Hats, Belts, Socks, Linens and other various articles of clothing as required for duty. All clothing articles will meet safety specifications as set by the Fire Chief. Appeal of the Fire Chief’s decision may be made to the Base Civil Engineer at Xxxxxxxx Field. Class “A” Uniform At the employee’s request, in order of seniority and contingent upon available funds the Employer will purchase a Class “A” uniform. The Employer will only purchase the Class “A” uniform once in the employee’s career, the Employees will be responsible for providing their own ties, shirts, and shoes for the Class “A” uniform. However, for the 2021 reopener only, the Employer will cover the cost of ties, shirts, and shoes. Once purchased, the employee will be responsible for the maintenance and up keep of the uniform. Employees who have already purchased their own Class “A” uniform will be given a one-time maintenance allowance of one hundred and sixty-five dollars ($165). Due to the potential for existing funds to expire on or about June 30, 2021, the Parties agree to implement this specific section immediately. As provided for in this Section, future purchases are subject to the availability of funds.

  • Loss or Damage Lessee hereby assumes and shall bear the entire risk of any loss, theft, damage to, or destruction of, any unit of Equipment from any cause whatsoever from the time the Equipment is shipped to Lessee.

  • Personal Property Damage Upon submission of reasonable proof the Employer shall repair or indemnify with respect to damage to the chattels of an employee while on duty caused by the actions of a patient, resident or client provided such personal property is an article of use or wear of a type suitable for use while on duty.

  • Property Damage Lessee shall obtain and maintain insurance coverage on all of Lessee's personal property, Trade Fixtures, and Lessee Owned Alterations and Utility Installations. Such insurance shall be full replacement cost coverage with a deductible of not to exceed $1,000 per occurrence. The proceeds from any such insurance shall be used by Lessee for the replacement of personal property, Trade Fixtures and Lessee Owned Alterations and Utility Installations. Lessee shall provide Lessor with written evidence that such insurance is in force.

  • Property Damages The User’s guests are required to respect all University property. • Guests may not remodel, alter, tamper with or move furniture, electrical or mechanical fixtures, or other University property. • The User agrees to refrain from the use of adhesives, nails, or items that may damage the premises. No decorations or temporary fixtures may be affixed to plants, trees, woodwork, buildings or any architectural feature with nails, tacks, staples, or any application that will cause irreversible damage to landscaping or structures. Duct tape and white masking tape are not permitted on any building, hardscape or lighting fixtures. Neither lights nor decorations may be placed on trees or plants. • Any outdoor signage must be reviewed and approved by University prior to installation. Stakes may not be placed deeper than 5 inches into the grass in order to protect sprinklers and other underground pipes. • Charges will be assessed on the Final Invoice for damages to buildings, furniture, lawns and/or equipment. The University will, to the best of its ability, try to document the names of guests when damages occur but cannot always obtain such information.

  • Vehicle Damage 22.1 Subject to these Terms and Conditions, if You or any Authorised Driver has an Accident or if the Vehicle is stolen We will indemnify You for the theft, any Damage or Third Party Loss but for each Accident or theft You must pay up to the Damage Excess according to the Liability Reduction Option You have chosen and which is shown on the Rental Agreement, unless We agree that:

  • Liability for Damage Each party shall be liable to the other for all damage to the property of the other negligently, recklessly or intentionally caused by that party (or their agents, employees or invitees), except to the extent the loss is insured and subrogation is waived under the owner's policy.

  • Remedy Damages The Contractor shall promptly remedy damages and loss to property at the Site caused by the Contractor, by any Subcontractor, by anyone directly or indirectly employed by the Contractor or any such Subcontractor, or by anyone for whose acts the Contractor or any such Subcontractor may be liable. Should the Contractor cause damage to any Separate Contractor‘s work, the Contractor agrees, upon due notice, to settle with the Separate Contractor.

  • Private Vehicle Damage Where an employee’s vehicle is damaged by a student at a worksite or an approved school function, or as a direct result of the employee being employed by the employer, the employer shall reimburse the employee the lesser of actual vehicle damage repair costs, or the cost of any deductible portion of insurance coverage on that vehicle up to a maximum of $600.
