Type 2B. Provides a one-way Trunk Side connection from a SPCS MSC to a SBC-12STATE End office. Type 2B provides the capability to access only End User Customers served by that End Office. When two-way is available the parties agree that it will be the preferred trunk group type. SS7 signaling is currently available only on one-way Mobile to Land Type 2B, but two-way trunk groups will be provisioned with SS7 signaling where and when available.

Type 2B. Type 2 B involves the Parties' interconnection of their respective networks using a trunk interconnection between selected SCRTC end offices and Bluegrass POCs. Under the arrangement, the interconnection facility acts like an interoffice trunk. The interconnection may by mutual agreement be used as a two-way service for delivery of traffic between the Parties’ respective networks. For traffic terminating on SCRTC's network, Bluegrass may use the interconnection to access valid numbers residing in the end office to which the interconnection is made. Based on the specific SCRTC end office to which the interconnection is made, the interconnection may be used by SCRTC to deliver traffic to designated NPA-NXXs of Bluegrass for which the associated rate center (as determined by Vertical and Horizontal (“V&H”) coordinates) is within the specific local calling area of the SCRTC originating end office.

Under the arrangement, the interconnection facility acts like an interoffice trunk. The interconnection may by mutual agreement be used as a two-way service for delivery of traffic between the Parties’ respective networks. For traffic terminating on TGTC's network, Cingular may use the interconnection to access valid numbers residing in the end office to which the interconnection is made. Based on the specific TGTC end office to which the interconnection is made, the interconnection may be used by TGTC to deliver traffic to designated NPA-NXXs of Cingular for which the associated rate center (as determined by Vertical and Horizontal (“V&H”) coordinates) is within the specific local calling area of the TGTC originating end office.
