Transportation of Pets as On-board Checked Baggage on International and Domestic Flights. Occasionally it is possible that certain pets (dogs and cats) may travel with their owners in the passenger cabin as carry-on baggage. The transportation of certain pets in the passenger cabin is allowed on all domestic flights. Pets must travel inside special bags or kennels that allow them to breathe freely. Pets that show signs of nervousness or aggressiveness and those that by their appearance, smell or sickness may inconvenience other Passengers and the crew shall not travel in the passenger cabin and may be transported through Cargo department service. Costs associated with this change shall be assumed by the Passenger. Once aboard, the kennel must be placed under the seat in front of the Passenger traveling with the pet. The pet shall remain inside its kennel during the entire trip. When making the reservation, the Passenger must clearly inform that he is traveling with one pet in the passenger cabin. This service is subject to space availability, since the number of pets is limited to a total of 3 per flight: 0 in Executive Class and 3 in Economy Class.
