Transport for Injured Employees. 22.16.1 Transport for injured employees – where the accident is work related and the injury sustained by the employee necessitates immediate removal to a hospital, or to a medical practitioner for medical attention and then to their residence or to a hospital, or to their residence (medical attention away from the residence not being required), the DHB is to provide or arrange for necessary transport, pay all reasonable expenses for meals and lodging, incurred on or on behalf of, the employee.
