Common use of Training Agreements Clause in Contracts

Training Agreements. a. Bargaining unit employees who sign the training agreement are expected to attend the training. b. If a bargaining unit employee is unable to attend the training, he/she should provide as much advance notice as possible. c. The Employer recognizes that there may be valid reasons for why a bargaining unit employee may not be able to attend training. Any grievance over the validity of the excuse would be handled in accordance with Article 20.
