Common use of Trainer Pay Clause in Contracts

Trainer Pay. An employee who agrees to conduct training for other staff members shall be compensated at their hourly rate of pay. For each hour of training, one hour of preparation shall also be compensated. (Example: conducting a three-hour training session will be compensated at six hours.) Subsequent training of the same content within three (3) months shall be compensated for the actual hours of training with no additional time allowed for preparation. All such training agreements must be approved in writing by the program administrator and the Director of Special Education.
