Traffic Safety Violations Sample Clauses
The Traffic Safety Violations clause establishes the rules and responsibilities regarding adherence to traffic laws and regulations. It typically requires parties, such as employees or contractors operating vehicles for business purposes, to comply with all applicable traffic safety standards and may outline consequences for violations, such as disciplinary action or liability for fines. This clause serves to promote safe driving practices, reduce legal and financial risks for the organization, and ensure accountability for traffic-related conduct.
Traffic Safety Violations. If an employee receives a traffic citation in the course of performing assigned duties, he/she must inform the College of said citation. The College will inform the employee, in writing, of possible disciplinary action to be taken. If the employee can provide the College with evidence that the aforementioned citation has been dismissed and will not appear on his/her drivers abstract, the College, upon receipt of the evidence, will remove the written notification from the employee's personnel file. Nothing in this section shall prohibit the College from disciplining employees for continued demonstrated inability to perform assigned driving duties in an acceptable manner.
