Tonnage Allowance. An employee who is required to drive a motor vehicle of one of the types described in Table 2 below shall be paid, in addition to salary, an allowance at the relevant rate prescribed for the type of vehicle as specified in the Australia Post Human Resources Manual Rates of Pay Booklet for each day or portion thereof while the vehicle is driven on a public carriageway.
