Common use of Tip Pool Clause in Contracts

Tip Pool. All tips and gratuities that are received from customers will be place into an employee- controlled Tip Pool. Tips received during a regularly scheduled shift are to be split evenly between scheduled employees. All tips will be paid to each employee by the end of a scheduled shift. Only members of the bargaining unit are entitled to participate in the Tip Pool, if no bargaining unit member are on a schedule shift the tip pool does not apply at the managers discretion.
