Time Lines. A grievance will be deemed untimely if the time limits set forth above for presentation of a grievance to a step are not met, unless the parties agree in writing to extend such time limits.
Time Lines. 1. All time limits laid down in Part III of this Agreement, including the limits for the arbitration panels to notify their rulings, shall be counted in calendar days from the day following the act or fact to which they refer.
Time Lines. Action to grieve must be initiated in writing within ten (10) work days after the grievant determines that informal discussion has not been effective and/or upon discovery of a problem or condition affecting employment. Review and action by the administrator receiving the grievance must be initiated within ten (10) work days of receipt of the written appeal. Time lines may be extended by mutual agreement.
Time Lines. The grievance process shall be subject to the timelines identified in this Article. When the last day of a timeline falls on a weekend or holiday, the last day of the timeline shall be the next day which is not a weekend or holiday. The timelines identified in this Article may be extended by written mutual agreement of the parties to the grievance. Following the initial filing of a grievance, if any party to the grievance is unavailable due to previous scheduling conflicts, the timelines herein may be extended by mutual agreement between the parties so long as notice of the extension is filed within the original timelines.
Time Lines. Time lines in the Formal conflict resolution process may be adjusted with the mutual consent of the President of the Local Union and the Director Labour Relations.
Time Lines. Should the grievant or the Union fail to timely file or advance a grievance the grievance shall become void and forever waived. Should the School District, its agents or representatives fail to provide a timely response at any step of this procedure such failure shall be considered a denial of the grievance and the grievance may be timely advanced to the next step of this procedure.
Time Lines. 17.5.4.1 Except as provided in section 17.5.4.2, below, the evaluation process for any semester shall be conducted in accordance with the time lines specified in section 17.7 of this Article. Deviations from the time lines as provided in section 17.7 that do not materially affect the substance of the evaluation shall not invalidate the findings and recommendations therein.
Time Lines a. In the event a grievance cannot be processed through all steps by the end of spring semester, it may be continued at the beginning of the fall semester. Continuation of the process through the summer vacation may proceed if agreeable to all participants.
Time Lines. The time limits specified in the grievance procedure may be extended by mutual, written agreement between the Employer and the Union.
Time Lines. Whenever a faculty member is designated for formal evaluation, the Xxxx or Department Chair will provide notice to the faculty member no later than 45 days before the start of the semester in which the faculty member is to be reviewed. In the event a class is cancelled between giving notice and the start of the semester, the Xxxx, in his or her discretion, may designate another faculty member for evaluation.
