Third Day Off. Officers required to come in for patrol duty on their third day off will be compensated at a time plus one-half rate. Efforts will be made to avoid this scenario, unless the officer has elected to be on the voluntary call in list. Officers may be scheduled for court, training, or assigned to a special team that is paged in on their third day off which would be considered an unavoidable scenario and paid at time plus one-half rate.
