The Project Officer. 20.1 The Project Officer or his authorised deputy shall in accordance with the Contract but not further or otherwise have power and authority to issue reasonable instructions and directions on any matter in connection with the proper performance of the Services but subject to the terms of the Contract and the Contractor shall carry out and be bound by the same. The Project Officer shall not exercise any functions; rights or powers beyond those conferred by the Contract.
