Common use of THE INTENT OF THE LAW Clause in Contracts

THE INTENT OF THE LAW. It is the intent of the Legislature that a variety of articulated acceleration mechanisms be available to secondary and postsecondary students attending public educational institutions. The purpose of these acceleration mechanisms is to shorten the time necessary for a student to complete the requirements for obtaining a degree, to broaden the scope of curricular options available to students, to increase the depth of study available for a particular subject, and to better utilize faculty, facilities, and equipment. The articulation mechanisms include (but are not limited to) dual enrollment, early admission, advanced placement, and credit by examination.
