Common use of The Bumping Process Clause in Contracts

The Bumping Process. Any employee may bump (take the job of) the least senior employee holding the same job title. In the event there is no less senior employee or same job title, the employee may displace the least senior employee in the same pay grade. If there is no least senior employee, that employee may bump the least senior person in any lower classification with shift preference.
