Common use of Terms; Captions Clause in Contracts

Terms; Captions. The words “Landlord” and “Tenant” as used herein shall include the plural as well as the singular. The normal rule of construction to the effect that any ambiguities are to be resolved against the drafting party shall not be employed in the interpretation of this Lease or any exhibits or amendments hereto. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the use of the word “including” and “include” in this Lease shall be deemed to mean “including without limitation” and “include without limitation” in each instance. The necessary grammatical changes required to make the provisions hereof apply either to corporations or partnerships or individuals, men or women, as the case may require, shall in all cases be assumed as though in each case fully expressed. The captions of Articles and Sections are for convenience only and shall not be deemed to limit, construe, affect or alter the meaning of such Articles and Sections.
