Common use of Termination of Agreement for Convenience Clause in Contracts

Termination of Agreement for Convenience. A. City may terminate performance of the Services under the Agreement in accordance with this Termination of Agreement for Convenience in whole, or from time to time in part, whenever City shall determine that termination is in the City's best interests. Termination shall be effected by City delivering to Consultant, at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the effective date of the termination, a Notice of Termination ("Notice of Termination") specifying the extent to which performance of the Services under the Agreement is terminated.
