Common use of Termination for Convenience of City Clause in Contracts

Termination for Convenience of City. The City may terminate this Agreement at any time by mailing a notice in writing to Contractor. The Agreement shall then be deemed terminated, and no further work shall be performed by Contractor. If the Agreement is so terminated, the Contractor shall be paid for the work actually completed at the time the notice of termination is received.

If this Agreement is terminated due to the fault of the Contractor, the preceding Section hereof relative to termination is receivedshall apply.

All finished or unfinished documents and other materials as described in writing Section 7. Termination of Agreement for Cause are the property of the City and shall be delivered to Contractorthe City by or upon the effective date of execution of this section. The Agreement shall then be deemed terminated, and no further work Attorney shall be performed by Contractorentitled to receive compensation in accordance with the payment provisions of Section 5. If Compensation of this Agreement only for work completed to the Agreement is so terminated, the Contractor shall be paid for the work actually completed at the time the notice of termination is received.City's satisfaction in accordance with Section
