Common use of Term; Effectiveness Clause in Contracts

Term; Effectiveness. (a) The term of the Executive’s employment under this Agreement shall commence as of March 18, 2013 (the “Effective Date”) and shall continue until the first anniversary thereof (the “Initial Expiration Date”); provided, however, that the Executive’s employment shall automatically renew for an additional period of one year on the Initial Expiration Date and each one-year anniversary of the Initial Expiration Date thereafter, unless and until either the Company or the Executive provides written notice of non-renewal to the other party at least 30 days before the Initial Expiration Date or such applicable anniversary thereof; provided, further, that the Executive’s employment under this Agreement may be terminated at any time pursuant to the provisions of Section 4. The period of time from the Effective Date through the termination of this Agreement and the Executive’s employment hereunder pursuant to its terms is herein referred to as the “Term.”
