Temporary Drivers Sample Clauses
The Temporary Drivers clause defines the terms under which individuals who are not regular drivers of a vehicle may operate it for a limited period. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions, such as duration and qualifications, that must be met for a temporary driver to be covered under an insurance policy or permitted by a rental agreement. For example, it may specify that only licensed drivers over a certain age can act as temporary drivers, and only with the owner's consent. The core function of this clause is to clarify liability and coverage issues when someone other than the primary driver uses the vehicle temporarily, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes in the event of an incident.
