Common use of Teaching Overload Clause in Contracts

Teaching Overload. (i) A Faculty member may choose, but shall not be compelled, to teach overloads in any term. In no case will a Faculty member teach more than nine credits as overloads per twelve-month period. Faculty members may only teach two overloads in one term with prior written approval by the ▇▇▇▇. All overloads must be communicated in writing to the Office of the ▇▇▇▇ by the Department Chair.
