Common use of Teacher’s Preparation Period Clause in Contracts

Teacher’s Preparation Period. a. Teachers shall have one preparation period per day the length of which shall not be less than forty-five (45) minutes or, should the parties agree, a block of time aggregated to equal two hundred and twenty-five (225) minutes per week. During this time, the teacher shall be unassigned in order that the time may be used for class preparation.
