Teacher Performance. The assessment of a teacher’s performance, resulting in a performance rating. As an evaluation factor, the teacher performance dimension is based on direct observations and walkthroughs that are performed by a credentialed evaluator. Teacher performance results are reported as a teacher performance rating that may be coded as “1” indicating lowest performance to “4” indicating highest performance.

Teacher Performance. Teacher observation by Supervisors of the work performance of a teacher shall be conducted in a professional manner.
Teacher Performance. The assessment of a teacher, during the Evaluation Cycle, which is based upon the educator professional standards, and reported using the rubric contained in Appendix G-9 of this Agreement.
Teacher Performance. A. The parties recognize and agree that teacher performance plays an important role in the growth and development of students. Therefore, the evaluation of teacher performance should provide information pertinent to career development. To this end, the following procedural safeguards relating to teacher performance have been agreed to in an effort to accomplish the goal. The parties agree that students and teachers deserve an effective education system which includes a quality evaluation system that provides tools teachers need to continuously tailor instruction, enhance practice and advance student learning.
Teacher Performance. (a) A teacher’s performance shall be assessed based on the Ohio Educator Standards and rubrics for teaching and the criteria set forth in the evaluation instrument.
Teacher Performance. A. All monitoring or observation of the work performance of a teacher will be conducted openly and with full knowledge of the teacher. Teachers will be given a copy of an evaluation report prepared by their supervisors and will have the right to discuss such reports with their supervisors.
Teacher Performance. In the event that teacher performance problems develop as documented during the regularly scheduled evaluation/observation schedule, the teacher shall develop an Improvement Plan; otherwise, all teachers shall develop a Professional Growth Plan. Teachers shall develop professional growth plans and/or improvement plans in accordance with the standards-based statewide teacher evaluation framework adopted by the State Board of Education. Professional growth or improvement plans shall include the following components: student achievement goals and teacher performance goals. Teachers must develop professional growth or improvement plans in accordance with regulations/guidance developed by XXX. Teachers with an evaluation rating of Accomplished will develop a self-directed Professional Growth Plan that focuses on specific areas identified in the observations and evaluation. Teachers with an evaluation rating of Skilled must develop a professional growth plan collaboratively with his/her credentialed evaluator that focuses on specific areas identified in the observations and evaluation. Teachers who meet Below-Expected levels of student growth must comply with an improvement plan developed by the assigned evaluator. Teachers who are rated Ineffective in performance must comply with an improvement plan developed by the assigned evaluator. Teacher Performance. The assessment of a teacher’s performance, using the OTES 2.0 framework. Teacher performance is based on observations and walkthroughs that are performed by a credentialed evaluator. Teacher performance results are reported as Accomplished, Skilled, Developing, or Ineffective using the OTES 2.0 performance rubric.
Teacher Performance. For teachers whose annual performance review reflects an overall rating of less than Fully Engaged, the performance review team shall identify specific areas for improvement within the performance review area. Such teachers shall be given opportunity to continue working to improve performance to reach the Fully Engaged level starting in the year immediately following the initial review for a period of up to three years.
Teacher Performance. The first “observation cycle” shall take place and be completed on or before December 15, and the second “observation cycle” shall take place and be completed on or before March 31.
