System Definition Sample Clauses
The System Definition clause establishes a clear and detailed description of the system or solution that is the subject of the agreement. It typically outlines the components, features, and boundaries of the system, specifying what is included and excluded, such as hardware, software, interfaces, or services. By precisely defining the system, this clause ensures both parties have a mutual understanding of the deliverables, reducing the risk of disputes over scope and performance expectations.

System Definition. The system consists of the respective physical assets, including spectrum, infrastructure, hardware, software, and other equipment which are dedicated in whole or in part by the parties solely for the purpose of their use and integration as a single, statewide, cost-shared interoperable wireless communications system as provided under the agreement.
System Definition. The End User consultations provided input into the system design, resulting in the top level context diagram for the demonstration system as shown in Figure 2-1. The system was required to interface to an existing CCTV network comprising a number of imaging sensors [cameras] and a single system operator. For the demonstration system, the number of sensor interfaces was limited to a maximum of four, but this was not a fundamental limit as the system context was designed to be scalable to accept any number of sensor inputs. The purpose of the operator interface (MMI) was to allow an operator to view the raw and processed data from all cameras and control the operation of the data processing.
System Definition. CE has estimated the scope of the System required to meet the Client’s needs and provided a quotation for building and hosting the System in Schedule A. Even if CE has underestimated this scope, CE guarantees this quotation as follows: a) the Client may select an unlimited number and combination of all the “Standard Features” listed in Schedule B at no additional charge and will receive the “Standard Services” listed in Schedule B at no additional charge; b) CE will assign a “Personal Support Manager” to work with the Client to build the original System, and the Client may request any number of changes or additional uses of the Standard Features throughout the life of this Agreement. If any of the functionality represented in the Standard Features is enhanced during the term of this Agreement, Client will receive the improved functionality at no additional charge. Client may order one or more “Optional Features” or “Optional Services,” which will be separately priced and listed in Schedule A.
System Definition. The totality of all objects, events, consequences, assumptions and conditions which are necessary for a particular risk assessment form the considered system for analysis. In this definition, the system is defined and described by all the relevant information, data, expertise and models. The delimitation and characterisation of the system depends on the decision-makers. A screenshot from the program showing the system definition page is shown in Figure 3.1; information pertaining to three categories is requested – project (administrative), characteristics of the rockfall protection gallery and the characteristics of the traffic.
