Common use of Surviving Spouse and Dependent Coverage Clause in Contracts

Surviving Spouse and Dependent Coverage. Where a surviving spouse and dependants of a deceased employee are not covered by such plans by reason of their own employment, the Company will extend the coverage for Alberta Health Care, Extended Health Benefits, and the Dental Plan for a period of three (3) months, commencing the first (1st) of the month following the month in which the death occurs.
