Supported License Sample Clauses

Supported License. A Software Maintenance Subscription upgrades an Activated License to Supported License status and the affected Licensee is referred to as a “Supported Licensee” in this document. Evaluation Software and Licensees are not eligible for participation in the service. The Supported Licensee is allowed to download and install updates for licensed software modules and report library additions on a continuing basis without charge (Level 1 support) and is eligible for additional fee-based software customization services (Level 2 support). While the initial 6-month Software Maintenance Subscription is provided automatically and free of charge to newly Activated Licensees, the annual renewal subscriptions which are offered thereafter are not free. The Supported Licensee is encouraged but not obligated to renew the Software Maintenance Subscription. As detailed in the Software Maintenance Subscription section of this agreement, if the subscription is not renewed in a timely manner, the Supported Licensee is downgraded to Activated Licensee status, and the Activated Software is frozen at the then current update level without any guarantee of compatibility with future updates.
Supported License. The Developer warrants that the software will perform as represented on the website, video demonstrations, and marketing materials. Bug fixes or workarounds will be made available for download from the website on either as updated software, or patches or workarounds to the most current version of the software.
