Software Maintenance Subscription. The Software Maintenance Subscription is an ongoing service for deployment of software corrections, updates, and enhancements. At no additional charge, newly Activated Licensees are granted an initial 6-month Software Maintenance Subscription as an opportunity to insure that their software installation is up-to-date and any outstanding support questions are favorably resolved. After the initial 6-month subscription, participation in the service is optional but strongly encouraged. The Software Maintenance Subscription section of this agreement outlines the details of the service.
