Supervisory Duties. An employee shall not be required to perform managerial/supervisory duties as an assistant to or a substitute for a principal or other supervisor. However, elementary principals may designate an employee, upon mutual agreement, as teacher-in-charge to act in emergencies when the principal is absent.

Supervisory Duties. Supervisory time shall be defined as a block of time on site where direct teaching does not take place, but students/parents are arriving and dismissing. ECFE/SR/PE teachers shall have supervisory time assigned in proportion to contact time in the same proportion as K-12 teachers.
Supervisory Duties. Every effort will be made to schedule paid supervisory duties on an equitable basis.
Supervisory Duties. Members will not discharge, discipline or evaluate other members. However, members whose job description requires direction over other members may be required to provide information about the quality and quantity of work performance. With respect to such other conduct, members may be required to disclose what they observe, but will not be asked to monitor or observe other members’ conduct. Further, consistent with job descriptions, members may be assigned to direct the work of other members.
Supervisory Duties. Members shall be required to perform supervisory duties as assigned during the specified member workday as long as adequate moving and travel time are allowed for beyond the periods of teaching and supervisory responsibilities. The administration in the buildings where the supervisory duties are being performed will provide advance assignment notification to the members performing supervisory duties in order to prevent duplication.
Supervisory Duties. A. Employees covered by this Agreement may be assigned by the Superintendent or his designee, to such supervisory duties as the Superintendent deems necessary. Such duties shall include, but not be limited to, cafeteria, bus, gymnasium, corridor and detention room duties and shall be distributed equitably among all the staff. A list of all supervisory duties will be provided to all employees at the end of each school year and employees will return the list to the Principal by July 1 with the supervisory duties listed in order of preference. The list will include supervisory duties which are outside of the work day as defined in this Agreement and employees who volunteer to work these supervisory duties will not be assigned any supervisory duties during the regular work day. Employees will not be evaluated for volunteering or not volunteering for the supervisory duties which are outside of the regular work day.
Supervisory Duties. The District and the Association recognize that as professionals, the primary responsibility of Employees is the instruction of students. However, Employees may be assigned non-instructional supervisory duties during the regular workday. Every attempt shall be made to limit such duties to an average of thirty (30) minutes per week, but in no case shall such duties exceed a maximum average of forty-five (45) minutes per week. Such assigned duties shall be prorated for Employees who are part time at a building.
Supervisory Duties a. Physician agrees to supervise and oversee the practice(s) of AHP(s) in accordance with the terms of the Supervision Agreement(s), as attached hereto. Physician further attests that such Supervision Agreement(s) have been appropriately filed at each location where AHP(s) will practice, and/or with a state professional board, if applicable Ohio law requires filings at such location(s).
Supervisory Duties. (a) A teacher may volunteer for morning, lunch, and/or afternoon supervision duties. A teacher may volunteer for lunch supervision duty in lieu of their duty-free lunch. Any teachers who volunteers for a supervision shall be paid $1500 for morning duty, $1700 for lunch duty, $1300 for afternoon duty. The administration shall have the sole discretion to determine the number and location of all supervision assignments and maintain final authority with regard to the implementation of the supervision plan. Lunch supervision may be in the form of either classroom lunch supervision or non-classroom lunch supervision. Class room lunch supervision shall be limited to a maximum 20 students per classroom. All teachers in self-contained classrooms shall receive the supervision stipend as consideration for no duty-free lunch.
