SUPERIOR DUTY PAY. When an employee is required to replace and perform substantially the duties of a higher-paid employee for a period of three (3) consecutive days or more, the employee shall receive the minimum step of the higher-paid position or the step in the higher range which is at least one step higher than the employee’s current salary.
