Summer School Programs. The following terms and conditions shall apply to the district’s summer school programs: 1. The Middle School Principal shall appoint one or more Middle School Assistant Principals to develop, coordinate and supervise the Middle School summer program as part of their regular administrative responsibilities; 2. The High School Principal shall appoint one or more High School Assistant Principals to be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the High School Summer School program as part of their regular administrative responsibilities; 3. In the event that a Middle School Assistant Principal and/or High School Assistant Principal receive approval from the Superintendent/designee to extend his/her regular work year in carrying out the responsibilities set forth in Sections 2 and 3 above, the administrator will be compensated at his/her per diem rate of pay for each additional work day.
