Common use of Substitutions and Addenda Clause in Contracts

Substitutions and Addenda. The Design Professional shall receive and review requests for substitution during the bidding period in strict accordance with Paragraph 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and the provisions of the General Conditions. The Design Professional shall prepare such necessary addenda and provide documents for such addenda in sufficient time prior to the bid date, consistent with the requirements of Georgia law and Board policy, to the District for issuance to all holders of record of the Bidding Documents, or with approval of the Owner, extend the bid date. All changes in documents should be marked, circled, or designated by other means to make the change clearly recognizable.
