Common use of Substitution of the Power Producer Clause in Contracts

Substitution of the Power Producer. 17.1.1 Subject to the terms of the PPA, upon occurrence of an Power Producer Event of Default under the PPA, the Lenders shall, have the right to seek substitution of the Power Producer by a Selectee, meeting or exceeding eligibility criteria as per PPA or/ and RFP, for the residual period of the PPA, for the purposes of securing the payments of the Total Debt Amount from the Power Producer and performing the obligations of the Power Producer, in accordance with the provisions of this Article.
