Police Powers. The Grantee agrees to comply with the terms of any lawfully adopted generally applicable local ordinance necessary to the safety, health, and welfare of the public, to the extent that the provisions of the ordinance do not have the effect of limiting the benefits or expanding the obligations of the Grantee that are granted by this Franchise. This Franchise is a contract and except as to those changes which are the result of the Grantor’s lawful exercise of its general police power, the Grantor may not take any unilateral action which materially changes the mutual promises in this contract.
Police Powers. Comcast's rights under this Agreement are subject to the police powers of the Township to adopt and enforce general laws and regulations necessary for the safety and welfare of the public. Such laws and regulations are separate and distinct from the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. If the Township’s exercise of the police power results in a material alteration of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, then the parties shall negotiate amendments in good faith to this Agreement to the mutual satisfaction of both parties to ameliorate the negative effects on Comcast of the material alteration.
Police Powers. Nothing in this Franchise Agreement shall be construed as an abrogation by the City of any of its police powers to adopt and enforce generally applicable ordinances deemed necessary for the health, safety, and welfare of the public, and the Grantee shall comply with all generally applicable laws and ordinances enacted by the City pursuant to such police power.
Police Powers. 1. In accepting this Agreement, the Franchisee acknowledges that its rights under this Agreement are subject to the police power of the City to adopt and enforce general Agreements necessary to the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Except as otherwise agreed to by the parties or exempted by a City ordinance, Franchisee shall comply with all applicable general laws and Agreements enacted by the City pursuant to such powers. Any conflict between the provisions of this Agreement and any other present or future lawful exercise of the City’s police powers shall be resolved in favor of the latter.

Grantee’s rights hereunder are subject to the police powers of the City to adopt and enforce ordinances necessary to the safety, health, and welfare of the public, and Grantee agrees to comply with all laws and ordinances of general applicability enacted, or hereafter enacted, by the City or any other legally constituted governmental unit having lawful jurisdiction over the subject matter hereof. The City shall have the right to adopt, from time to time, such ordinances as may be deemed necessary in the exercise of its police power; provided that such hereinafter enacted ordinances shall be reasonable and not materially modify the terms of this Franchise. Any conflict between the provisions of this Franchise and any other present or future lawful exercise of the City's police powers shall be resolved in favor of the latter.
Police Powers. The CITY expressly reserves, and the PROVIDER expressly recognizes, the CITY’s right and duty to adopt, from time to time, in addition to provisions herein contained, such ordinances and rules and regulations as the CITY may deem necessary in the exercise of its police power for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of its citizens and their properties.

Grantee's rights hereunder are subject to the police powers of Grantor to adopt and enforce ordinances necessary to the safety, health and welfare of the public, and Grantee agrees to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances and regulations enacted pursuant to the police powers of Grantor, or hereafter enacted in accordance therewith, by Grantor or any other legally-constituted governmental unit having lawful jurisdiction over the subject matter hereof. Any conflict between the provisions of this Franchise and any other present or future lawful exercise of Grantor's police powers shall be resolved in favor of the latter.
Police Powers. It is the intent of the parties to this Agreement that the City shall retain its police powers with respect to the regulation of traffic upon the improvement contemplated. However, the City will enact, keep in force, and enforce only such ordinances relating to traffic movement and parking restrictions as may be approved by the Commission and as are not in conflict with any regulations for federal aid. The Commission shall not arbitrarily withhold approval of reasonable traffic regulations, signs, and markings which will permit the movement of traffic in accordance with accepted traffic regulation practices.
Police Powers. Grantee's rights hereunder are subject to the lawful police powers of Grantor to adopt and enforce ordinances necessary to the safety, health, and welfare of the public, and Grantee agrees to comply with all applicable laws and ordinances enacted, or hereafter enacted, by Grantor or any other legally-constituted governmental unit having lawful jurisdiction over the subject matter hereof.
Police Powers. Nothing in this License shall be construed to prohibit the reasonable, necessary and lawful exercise of the Town’s police powers, provided that the Town shall not exercise its police powers in a manner that would result in a material alteration of the terms and conditions of this License. Any such police powers exercised by the Town in contravention of the preceding sentence shall be of no effect with respect to this License.
