The SUBSTITUTE MANAGERS clause defines the conditions and procedures under which a substitute manager may be appointed to temporarily or permanently replace the original manager in a contractual arrangement. Typically, this clause outlines who has the authority to designate a substitute, the qualifications required for the substitute manager, and the circumstances that may trigger such a substitution, such as absence, incapacity, or resignation of the original manager. SUBSTITUTE MANAGERS. An employee actually designated by the Employer to substitute for the Assistant Manager, Grocery Depart­ ment Manager/Head or Produce Department Manager/ Head for more than two (2) consecutive work days at any one time shall be paid for the entire period of such relief at the base weekly wage rate and hours o f the person for whom the employee is substituting. However, an employ­ ee actually designated by the Employer to substitute for the Assistant Manager, Grocery Department Manager/ Head or Produce Department Manager/Head in a store other than the employee’s regularly assigned store shall be paid at the base weekly wage rate and hours of the per­ son for whom the employee is substituting, commencing with the first (1st) day of such period of relief.
SUBSTITUTE MANAGERS. (a) Store Manager 1. An employee who substitutes for a Store Manager for a day or more, but less than a Store Manager’s full work week of 43 hours, 5 days, shall receive pro rata pay per hour for each full day that he substitutes for a Store Manager on the rate of $250.00 (effective 1/12/75 - $267.00) divided by 43 hours. In no case, however, shall he receive less than $5.00 per day in addition to his regular day’s pay for a full day of substitution. 2. An employee who substitutes for a Store Manager for a full work week of 43 hours, 5 days, shall receive $250.00 (effective 1/12/75 — $267.00).
SUBSTITUTE MANAGERS. A Party shall have the right to designate a Substitute Manager (“Substitute Manager”) in the event that a Manager previously designated by such Party shall resign, retire, die, or otherwise be unable or unavailable to serve.
SUBSTITUTE MANAGERS. An employee who is directed to serve as a manager on a temporary basis will receive a stipend of $40 per day in addition to his/her regular daily wages if the assignment is for a half-day or more. The stipend for serving as a manager on a temporary basis for less than a half day will be $20. An employee who is directed to serve as a manager on a temporary basis for longer than thirty (30) consecutive school days will receive after the thirtieth day an additional $10 per day, bringing the daily stipend to $50 per day.
