Common use of Subpoenas Directed to BSE Clause in Contracts

Subpoenas Directed to BSE. Where BellSouth is providing to BSE telecommunications services for resale or providing to BSE the local switching function, then BSE agrees that in those cases where BSE receives subpoenas or court ordered requests regarding targeted telephone numbers belonging to BSE end users, and where BSE does not have the requested information, BSE will advise the law enforcement agency initiating the request to redirect the subpoena or court ordered request to BellSouth for handling in accordance with 7.1 above.
