SUBCONTRACTS & SUBAWARDS. The State reserves the right to deny the use of any consultant, contractor, associate, or other personnel to perform any portion of the project. The Grantee is solely responsible for all contractual activities performed under this Agreement. Further, the State will consider the Grantee to be the sole point of contact with regard to contractual matters, including payment of any and all charges resulting from the anticipated Grant.   • Subcontracts and Staff 4.1 The Contractor is fully responsible for satisfactory completion of all work on this Contract. The Contractor shall ensure and provide assurances to the Department or Customer upon request, that any subcontractor(s) or Staff provided under this Contract has the necessary qualifications and abilities to perform in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Contract. The Contractor must provide the Customer with the names of Staff considered for work on a purchase order issued under this Contract. The Customer shall retain the right to reject any Staff whose qualifications or performance, in the Customer’s exclusive judgment, is insufficient.

  • Solicitations for Subcontracts, Including Procurements of Materials and Equipment In all solicitations either by competitive bidding or negotiation made by the Engineer for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurements of materials or leases of equipment, each potential subcontractor or supplier shall be notified by the Engineer of the Engineer's obligations under this contract and the Regulations relative to nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.

  • Subcontracts The contractor or subcontractor shall insert in any subcontracts the clauses set forth in paragraph (1.) through (4.) of this section and also a clause requiring the subcontractors to include these clauses in any lower tier subcontracts.   • Third Party Contracts From the Effective Date through and including the Closing Date, Seller agrees to enter into only those third-party contracts which are necessary to carry out its obligations under Section 5.2, which shall be on market terms and cancellable on thirty (30) days written notice or less, without payment of any fee or penalty. Copies of all such contracts so entered into by Seller shall be promptly provided by Seller to Purchaser.

  • Covered Contracts and Contractors If the Contract exceeds $100,000 and the Contractor employed more than 40 full-time employees on a single working day during the previous 12 months in Minnesota or in the state where it has its principle place of business, then the Contractor must comply with the requirements of Minnesota Statute § 363A.36 and Minnesota Rule Parts 5000.3400-5000.3600. A Contractor covered by Minnesota Statute § 363A.36 because it employed more than 40 full-time employees in another state and does not have a certificate of compliance, must certify that it is in compliance with federal affirmative action requirements.
