In her opinion, some people are not seeing the blind spots and men consciously push women aside certainly on boards. Those blind spots are things that are considered normal. When opening the debate on gender diversity, men often feel embarrassed because they feel there will be fewer career options for them. That is a key problem when seeking for gender diversity. To enhance diversity in the entire workplace and consequently on boards of directors it has to be part of the culture.
